Hey guys! We are a FULL month into programming since we opened, and what an exciting 5 weeks it has been. Before we begin, a HUGE congrats to everyone who participated in this year's open. It was essentially last minute for us, but everyone who participated did amazing.
Now to the nitty gritty. Here is a general idea of what to expect for this next 8 weeks (starting April 6th):
- We will be working to build our strength base. What better way to do that than with squatting?! That being said, we will be aiming to do some type of squat twice a week.
- Continuing the theme from the previous 5 weeks, we will be working on our weightlifting technique and honing in on different positions to help us become more efficient in the snatch and clean & jerk. Only difference is that we will occasionally have heavier days in addition to our technical days. There will also be pulling work as well!
- And of course, targeting our gymnastics and aerobic capacity. We will still continue to do muscle-up progressions at LEAST once a week, as well as other higher-level (and fundamental level) skills and gymnastics. You are HIGHLY encouraged to practice these skills outside of class as well.
- Sprinkle in basic strength to build up our upper body and midline and thats what we have coming up!

This will allow you to keep track of your numbers to build on every week as well as note any progress across the cycle. You can also spend this time giving shout outs to people on putting up awesome results :).
